- 4 hass avocados
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- 2 jalapeño chillies with seeds ( make it 1 with seeds for lesser heat, and remove seeds for mild)
- Juice from one lemon
- Salt and pepper
The guacamole may be served immediately, but it will develop more flavor if it is kept, covered with plastic wrap, for 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator. Garnish with the additional cilantro leaves just before serving.
Serve with warmed tortilla chips.
